Partnership Prevention Project Officer Position
Southern Mallee Primary Care Partnership (SMPCP) Buloke Strategic Health & Wellbeing Partnership (Buloke Shire Council, East Wimmera Health Service and Mallee Track Health & Community Services) has been successful in obtaining funding from the Department Premier Cabinet to work with local agencies and the community to create a partnership action plan focused on gender equality and the primary prevention of family violence (please see further information below). Partnership Prevention Project Officer will facilitate partnerships between the Buloke Shire community and local agencies to assist in creating long term change in preventing family violence. The Project Officer will develop and implement processes to enable inclusive community engagement and will facilitate the development of a partnership action plan to guide the community and agencies approach to preventing family violence across the Buloke Shire. Buloke Shire family violence prevention funding welcomed
We are very excited for the State Government’s funding announcement of $140,000 towards family violence prevention in the Buloke Shire. The funding will enable the SMPCP Buloke Strategic Health and Wellbeing Partnership (Buloke Shire Council, East Wimmera Health Service and Mallee Track Health & Community Services), together with the Buloke community, to co-design a localised family violence prevention action plan. We are seeking to appoint a part time Partnership Project Coordinator. The Partnership Project Coordinator will support and work alongside partner agencies on strengthening and building partnerships, service system integration and prevention (health promotion) areas of the 2017 – 2021 SMPCP Strategic Plan. SMPCP Mental Health & Related Services (Eligibility & Entry Criteria) Resource Update
The Southern Mallee Primary Care Partnership Mental Health & Related Services (Eligibility & Entry Criteria) Resources have been updated! These resources are used to increase awareness of, and referral to, a range of Mental Health Services and supports, increase and improve communication between agencies, and provide agencies with a resource which clearly defines the Eligibility and Entry Criteria for Mental Health and Related Services across the Southern Mallee.
